Q: What
is a "No Harm Divorce" ?
A: Though FL uses the term dissolution of marriage,
the essence is that you will no longer be raising
your children in an intact two parent environment.
How you chose to terminate this relationship
will have a profound effect upon your children
now and in the future.
Q: How does it differ from other legal approaches to
divorce?
A: A No Harm Divorce or Dissolution, differs from your traditional
adversarial bout in that it focuses on cooperative, collaborative
and educational methods to end the relationship with each other as
"spouses" while preserving it as co- parents of your children. The emphasis
here is on avoiding costly litigation, ending the need to affix blame
in an otherwise no fault environment or doing revenge which
creates a destruction of both of the parental relationships.
Q: What do we hope to achieve by this method?
A: Using the legal procedures, alternative
dispute resolution techniques and acclimating
yourself as to the long range effects upon
your children I will teach you, it is my
intention that you will learn a way to a
non- litigious resolution of both the
parental responsibility roles and the
division of your assets.
Q: Are you unwilling to go to court?
